1. Who we are
Awaazly is a privacy-first, on-device voice-to-text app published by MobileByteSensei ("we", "us", "the app"), available on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Web. This policy explains what data the app does and does not process, and the rights you have wherever you live.
The short version
Awaazly runs 100% on your device. We do not have servers that receive your audio or transcripts, we do not require an account, and we do not collect analytics, use tracking, or show ads. Your voice never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a transcript.

We collect no personal identifiers, no account data, no location, no contacts, and no usage analytics. Nothing in the table above is transmitted to us or any third party.
3. On-device processing — what leaves your device
Speech recognition (Whisper) and AI summaries (a local language model) run entirely on your device. There is no server round-trip. Audio and transcripts stay local. The only time content leaves your device is when you use your device's own share/export controls to send a transcript somewhere — and then it goes only where you send it.
4. Third parties and SDKs
Awaazly integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. We have no data-sharing relationships because we do not collect data to share.
5. Permissions
- Microphone — to capture audio for live transcription. Used only while you record.
- Files / storage (optional) — to let you import an audio file to transcribe.
Permissions are used solely for the function you invoked and never for background collection.
6. Data sharing and selling
We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under the California CCPA/CPRA and other laws. We have no data to sell — the app is on-device.
7. Your rights
Because Awaazly stores your data only on your device, you are always in direct control: delete any transcript in the app, or uninstall to remove everything. In addition, depending on where you live, you have the following rights, which you may exercise by contacting us (Section 12):
- EU / UK (GDPR / UK-GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our legal basis is your consent and the performance of the app's function; we process on-device only.
- California (CCPA / CPRA): the right to know, delete, and correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
- Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), Japan (APPI), and other regions: equivalent access, correction, and deletion rights. Contact us and we will honor them.
8. Children
Awaazly is a general-purpose utility not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children; because the app collects no personal data at all, none is collected from users of any age.
9. International data transfers
The app processes data on your device in your location, so there are no cross-border transfers of your content by us.
10. Security
Your data lives in your device's app storage, protected by your device's own security (lock screen, OS sandboxing, encryption at rest). Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data-in-transit to intercept.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above and, where required, surfaced in the app.
