Awaazly — Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-31
These Terms govern your use of Awaazly ("the App"), a privacy-first, on-device voice-to-text application published by MobileByteSensei ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Awaazly transcribes speech to text and generates summaries entirely on your device. No account is required. We do not operate a server that receives your audio or transcripts; the App functions offline.
2. Your content
Your recordings, audio files, and transcripts are yours. They are stored locally on your device. We have no access to them and never receive them unless you explicitly choose to export or share a transcript through your device's own sharing tools. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to record and transcribe it under the laws that apply to you (including consent laws for recording other people).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to break the law, to record people without a lawful basis, or to infringe others' rights. Because the App runs on your device, you are solely responsible for how you use it.
4. No subscription, no purchase
Awaazly is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no advertising. See our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its name, and its design are owned by MobileByteSensei. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to redistribute the App except as permitted by the app store you obtained it from.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". Automated transcription and AI summaries can be inaccurate; do not rely on them where accuracy is critical without your own review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MobileByteSensei is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App.
7. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MobileByteSensei is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights (for example, within the EU/UK), nothing in these Terms limits those rights. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the developer's jurisdiction, unless applicable law entitles you to bring proceedings elsewhere.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
